It's already 9102 (I saw many people online writing 2019 like this, so I followed suit?), and the last time I updated my blog was in November 2018. It's been quite a while, no wonder Xiaoyu has joined the scene (I think he's just idle? He updates almost every day, while I...). A lot has happened recently (the usual phrase...), so let's take it slowly.

Let's start with early December. I had a traffic accident for the first time in my life, and I discovered a "truth" - this scooter (two-wheeled electric scooter) really can't compete with a car (four-wheeler). Fortunately, I didn't collide (briefly speaking: that day, just after the traffic light turned green, I saw a car at the intersection ahead about to turn, and it stopped for a moment, making me instinctively think it was letting me pass. Without slowing down at all, the car suddenly turned in. Due to the close distance, I had to brake urgently. Maybe it was because it had rained recently, or maybe it was because the road surface was too poor. The scooter slipped and fell, causing multiple abrasions from my face to hands and knees, and my mouth had to be stitched. My knee was also seriously injured, with patellar fracture, meniscus and ligament damage, and broken teeth, etc. I stayed in the hospital for almost half a month. If it weren't for another incident that happened later, I would probably have stayed for at least a month). The driver of the car paid me 600 yuan on that day, but then he "ran out of money" (probably considering insurance matters). It was the first time in my life that I encountered such a disaster, and the losses were severe (because of broken front teeth, I dare not open my mouth wide when speaking now?).

In mid-December, the biggest event of my life came - getting married. Among people of the same age, I'm considered quite late. Due to the accident at the beginning of the month, many things before the wedding were arranged by my wife (I want to thank her here). She worked hard on a lot of things, and I can responsibly say that I was the least busy person in this wedding. Perhaps because of this, the heavens also wanted to reward my wife. We had good weather during the days of our wedding, and the sun even came out (you should know that it was either cloudy or rainy before and after that, and many friends said we picked a good day). The only contribution I made to this wedding was being discharged from the hospital in advance (removing the cast from my right leg, wearing a brace I bought online, and applying the magical plaster brought by my father-in-law). Then I hobbled along with my wife for outdoor shoots and the wedding ceremony. Of course, my contribution is nothing compared to my wife's efforts (can't help it, I'm just lucky. I have to perform well in the future, and this post serves as proof).

Due to the accident at the beginning of the month, I started taking sick leave. It's great to have free time every day, but when it's time to receive the salary for this month, I'll find it's pitifully little. It is said that sick leave pay is... (I'll know when I receive it, but one thing is certain: it's very little). I've been trying to find some online work, but so far, no luck (should I learn programming or coding? I'll consider it). I guess I won't be able to continue taking sick leave after the New Year, otherwise, I'll...

Now I think there are some things that can be elaborated on, such as the wedding. But considering the current internet situation, it's better to keep it brief. In fact, I wrote a blog post about it some time ago, but I didn't publish it and deleted it later due to certain factors. As for why I'm writing about it again this time, well, considering the current internet... I'll just write a short version to leave a mark.
