When writing this article title, I was a bit confused and didn't know what title would be suitable. After struggling for a long time, I finally decided to use this title. It looks like I'm doing something like a bright hall.
Speaking of which, there are many things I've been working on recently, but most of them are not presentable. The only thing that can be considered successful is "Adding a Redirect Intermediate Page to WordPress". The rest are all half-baked goods. Although things didn't work out, I spent a lot of time on them, doing a lot of meaningless things. Let's chat about it.
- Headlease Wordpress, as mentioned before, although I made a semi-finished product (strictly speaking, it's a finished product, a bit far from half-finished), I tinkered with PHP, Html, and even thought about using Astro, Next.js, 11ty, but ended up not achieving anything after spending time on it. I feel a bit "crazy" about it.
- Ghost, yes, during the process of tinkering with Headlease Wordpress, I also mentioned Ghost. The reason for tinkering with Ghost is that I saw that 只是玩玩 is using Ghost+11ty architecture, which is very attractive. However, due to lack of technical skills, I built Ghost, but as for using 11ty for the frontend (besides 11ty, I also looked at others like Astro, Next.js mentioned above), I have no idea, so it didn't work out...
Actually, why am I so obsessed with the Headlease series? I think this backend (like Wordpress, Ghost, etc.) + frontend approach is more attractive to me. Moreover, the frontend being purely static not only speeds up the website but also enhances security. However, for someone like me who is more practical, the difficulty of implementing this architecture is not small. I don't know if I will continue to tinker with it in the future, although I really want to, but...
In addition to the tinkering points mentioned above, there are some smaller ones that I won't go into detail about. I feel that the process of tinkering is good, but it does waste time (at least for me). Several times I stayed up late, only to realize that I didn't achieve anything. It's a complete sense of failure. After a few days, I find myself wanting to tinker again, and then "continue playing, continue having fun". Life, if you don't tinker a bit, it's tasteless. So, when you have time, you should still tinker around, but of course, you shouldn't stay up late. I'm getting older and can't afford to get hurt, haha.
